Artichoke Flower in Full Bloom

Here is a picture of one of my Artichokes in full bloom. I think the flower is so gorgeous! Most people don't give it a chance to bloom, they pick it and eat it before it has a chance to bloom. I have one plant to eat and one to enjoy these spectacular blooms! Isn't it just beautiful??

Hello Ann,

I have never seen a artichoke bloom before Ann! Thanks for capturing that picture. Just beautiful. Are you going to dry it and put it in a pretty vase?

Hugs,
Maryjane

I never even knew an artichoke would bloom and look like that. Very pretty. But I would still have to cut it and eat it before it got like that. I love artichokes! Yummmmm.

I never thought about it before. I love it when my mind is challenged to add another thing of beauty. The fruit is not really beautiful but more interesting. I' m glad God saw fit to give it beauty in addition to great taste!!!
Thanks for sharing....

I found a fully dried artichoke in my garden. I had not seen one either bloomed or dried. Just beautiful.
I can send you the photo of the dried one if you would like to see it.
