This is a cute Pink jeweled Dragon Fly Plant Stake
This is another Pink Hydrangea plant I have in a pot in my patio. This one has a more pink color blooms to it. I refer to this plant as the mother plant. I make all my additional plants with cuttings from this plant because I love the big pink blooms.
Here is a close up of some of those pretty pink blooms
This is my wreath on my front door. I made it out of lots of Pink flowers

I also love to collect old blue enamel ladles and spoons. Here are just a few.
They had a huge tube float at the river where thousands of people participated in it. We just sat on our deck and watched all the drunk crazies go by. I snapped this picture of some of the floaters. Do you notice how blue their tubes and umbrellas are??

Here is a china cup and saucer I just recently purchased on Ebay. It has pink and yellow roses on it.

Last November, I posted how to cut a stick from a Hydrangea plant and stick it in the ground to make another plant. This is the stick that I used in that post. Only 5 1/2 months ago and look how pretty the plant is already with a huge pink bloom!
I love Lobella with its very pretty blue color. I have one area that I have big rocks, and every year the Lobella come back by the seeds it drops from the previous year. The area is shaded in the afternoon under a tree.
I have an area just dedicated to my giant Shasta Daisies. They come back year after year.
This rose is called Show Biz. I have 9 of them as rose trees and they line one of my walkways in the yard. Their color is just stunning.
This plant is called Matiliya Poppy. The flowers are very big about 5 to 6" across and their pedals are paper thin and white in color with a huge orange center. The bush grows about 6 feet tall and it is covered with these pretty flowers.
The whole time I have been walking around my yard, Charlie the Turtle has been following me just hoping for some veggies. I am so glad he is out of hibernation. He makes such a sweet addition to the garden.

Memorial Day seems to be the only time throughout the year that the whole nation is united in the gratitude to the men and women in the Armed Services. This is a day to remember those who paid for our freedom
To remember those that still bear the pain of war
To mourn with those that have lost a loved one
I am truly grateful for the men and women in the Armed Services in the past, present and future. May God keep you and your families safe.

Petunias here in Southern California will last from Spring through Winter!
Here is a shot of some Bottle Brush bushes in the distance. They are bright red and they add so much color in the front yard.
Here are some close up shots of those bottle brush blooms!
Here is a Cactus plant that has the prettiest blooms on it. It hides behind 3 of our Palm Trees in the front yard. I am not a Cactus fan, but this bloom is the only reason why this cactus plant still is there!
Under our Ash Tree we have an area of Coreopsis growing
I have to show you a picture of this Ash Tree. It is so big that I cannot capture it in a picture. It sits in the middle of our front yard. It is over 200 years old and is over 100 feet tall and 45 feet wide. We had to hire a special tree guy, an Arborist to come out and trim the tree.

I think this is so cute. My niece Amber was asked to the Prom. Her potential date asked her by spelling out PROM? on her front lawn with Pink Rose Pedals. My sister snapped this picture before the wind blew them away and sent it to me.

Throughout the room I have every Coca Cola Barbie and Ken that has been made. Each one is still in their original box and has never been opened

In the 70s Coca Cola came out with their own doll and clothing line, and I have almost every one of them
I also have several vintage Coca Cola Trays and signs hanging on the walls too

I took an old Coca Cola crate and hung it on the wall and put in each slot Matchbox Coca Cola collector cars
We refer to this room as if it was on the corner of Coca Cola Court and Barbie Doll Blvd.

Here is a picture of it with a Paper Towel Roll on it.
Here is a close up of all that Pink broken china plates

This Hand Towel is very old, and its all stained yellow with age, but what makes this piece so special to me is that this is the first piece that my Mom ever embroidered when she was a teenager.
I would love to take the yellow out of this, so if anyone can give me a tip on doing so without taking away any of the color in the embroidery threads, please let me know.

Here are some really pretty pink blooms around the garden also. I love springtime with all the blooms and I noticed Pink must be one of my favorite colors in the garden too!

I have a few of these rose bushes out front and they look so pretty in the springtime!
This Rose bush is called Betty Boop
This is a close up of the Betty Boop Rose

Here is a area where I have some pansies growing

There are actually five little blue bird eggs in that nest that the Mommy birdie was sitting on! And I know for a fact that I scared the poop out of her!

I planted these maroon colored double bearded Iris last year. They are blooming this year. They are so dark in color. I think they looked better in the picture on the package when I bought them.
Here are some red Gerber Daisies and red Petunias in an area with some of my homemade Mosaic stepping stones.
This rose bush is called Betty Boop.
This Rose bush is called St Patrick's
This Rose Bush is called Hot Shot
I have over 150 rose bushes throughout my 3 acre yard. I feed them every March, June and September. In January I cut them all back and the cycle starts over again.
This Rose Bush is called Double Delight. (a very popular rose bush)
I like to cut some of the flowers and float them in a glass dish in one of my guest bedrooms. As long as you change the water often, they will last a month!
