Vintage Pillow Cases and a Special Gift

Today is Blue Monday! Thank you to Ms Sally at Smiling Sally's Blog for hosting Blue Monday!

I love vintage pillow cases! One of my favorite Etsy stores , Sage Patch (click here to visit her Etsy Store!) (and here to visit her blog!)has the prettiest vintage pillow cases and vintage finds! She even lets me know before she lists them in her store when she gets one in that she knows I would like!

I was so thrilled to receive these beautiful vintage pillow cases in the mail this week! They are a soft pink with embroidered pink and blue flowers!

But, she sent me a special thank you gift. It touched me so much that she would send this to me! It's a oil painting on canvas........ painted by her mother! I have it hanging on a wreath in one of my guest bedrooms!

What truly wonderful friendship and ladies I have met through blogging and Etsy!
Happy Blue Monday!!

Oh, that embroidery is so pretty. The blue flowers are tiny but precise. Such beautiful pillow cases. And the painting is very lovely too.

They are totally wonderful. I, too, love vintage embroidery but have not begun to collect it....yet. It could definitely happen at some point in the future!

Hello Anne, your pillow cases are gorgeous. I too love the hand worked vintage pillow cases. The painting of the darling bird is a treasure. I love it on the wreath. The kindness of our blogging friends is the biggest treasure of all.

Enjoy your treasures.

Arent crafters the best... I am a newbie to blogging and received a gift today and was just in awe.

My name is Sherry and I am new to the Bloggerette Sorority. I wanted to come by and introduce myself. I am sorry that I missed the rush, but I have only been blogging for a few weeks! Looking forward to joining in on the fun to come with everyone. I would be honored if you would stop by my blog at http://scrappingwithsherry1.blogspot.com/. Hope to see you there.

Take Care~ Sherry F.
