I am dedicating this Pink Saturday post to my beautiful Mother who shares with me the love for beautiful PINK things around the house!
My Mom's Pink Flowered antique lamp over 60 years old!
Her Pink flowered china Tea Set This Pink flowered Plate belonged to my Grandmother. A Pink glass Decanter that was once a wedding gift to my parents
My Mother's vintage pink brooch
I always giggle when I look at this picture. My Mother hates my cat. I snapped this picture because I couldn't believe my mother was petting my cat. Right after I took this picture, evil kitty turned and bit my mom!
Thank you Mom for always being there for me. Now I have the opportunity to do for you what you have always done for me.
Be sure to go visit our hostess for Pink Saturday, Ms Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound!

So sorry to hear your mother had a stroke. I know that is hard for family members when a loved one has gone through a major medical change. I work with stroke patients fairly often in our rehab department. It is a challenge sometimes. I am so glad you are getting help from your sister. It really helps to be able to share the burden. Happy Mother's Day to you!

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Mother's Day, dear Ann. I am so glad to hear from you. I've been wondering what was happening with you. Please take care of yourself. I know how hard this must be for you.
I am so sorry about your mother. Please give her an extra hug from me. I will be holding you all very close in my heart and prayers. Also, give an extra hug to your sister. I am so glad you have each other. I am an only child, and I think a sibling must be wonderful.
So, so sorry to read of your moms stroke....she has some nice things...darn kitty!
Sorry you are having a difficult time right now. How wonderful that you have a sister to share the good times and hard times with. I know this Mother's Day you will be holding your mom a little tighter.
Happy Pink Saturday to both you and your beautiful Mama!
Great picture of your Mom but isn't that just like a cat? Heeehehhe!

Hi Anne! Oh, I'm sorry to hear your mother had a stroke but that is a cute picture of you mom and the kitty and quite a funny story too! :)
She does have some pretty pink things.
Be a sweetie and Happy Mother's Day,
Shelia ;)
I so appreciate you stopping by and saying hello.
I had a very busy day yesterday and am behind in my posts. I do have to say that you were missed and now we know where you were. What a lovely tribute to your mother.
I hope you the loving care of you and your sister, she will be fine.
I had to laugh at the cat story. We used to have a kitty that would be so friendly, but watch out, you never knew when the bite would come! HA
Happy Pink Saturday and a very Happy Mother's Day, Char
Hi Ann, Hope you had a Happy Pink Saturday. Sharing your mother and her pink things is perfect. Wishing you and your mother a special day. Linda
I am so sorry your mother suffered a stroke, but glad that you posted such a wonderful Mothers day post. I know it is hard to care for an ailing parent, but glad you are not doing it alone.
What a beautiful mom...and ya for her being brave and petting the cat! Even if it did bite her! ;D
So sorry to hear about your mother; however I'm glad to see you back at Pink Saturday. My thought & prayers are with you!
You have many beautiful pinks in this post, and prayer for your mother to a full recovery..
That's so sad about your Mom's stroke. That's so hard. She's lucky to have family around her. And, it's really great that you and your sister have each other. Happy (belated) Mother's Day.

Hi Anne!
I am so sorry to read your news about your Mother. I know that the care and love you and your sister are giving to her are deeply felt and appreciated.
My mom had a stroke 7 years ago. . .it left her paralyzed and unable to communicate. However, I'm certain she knew we were with her that last week of her life.
My prayers go out to your Mother and to you and your sister.
I have to say that I loved the photo you shared...and the text about your Mother's dislike for the kitty and what the kitty did! We have to keep the funny times in our heads as we deal with the super rough times, don't we?
L, Dana
Oh, Miss Ann... I've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks and had no idea!
So sorry to hear about your mom- hope she is doing better now.
Prayers for you and your sister as you care for her...
