My first post for Rednesday 2011 I thought I would post pictures of some vintage salt and pepper shakers.
These are so cute. I bought them years ago and they make me smile.
I love anything Rooster, these salt and pepper shakers are my lastest thrift store find

What a nice collection. Perhaps one day you will post more photos of some of your other salt-n-pepper shakers. I always find it very interesting to see what interests people.
Love the salt and pepper shakers, especially the first ones! I have a Mama one just like it but she has plastic measuring spoons in her skirt and then one little girl shaker was with her. I guess the other one was broken...
Hugs,
Debbie
I really like both of these.
Oh, Ann- I love them both!! The rooster ones are such a beautiful color!
Oh girl, my Granny Walden had the first set, what memories that shook up in this old brain of mine!

Happy New Year to you.
These are really wonderful! It's so hard to find the older ones in such great shape...and both of them together! ♥
I recently picked up a pair of the Black Memorabilia salt and pepper shakers you posted on January 2011. We have tried researching them, but they are totally different than anything else we can find. He has red eyebrows and she has a yellow bowl. Do you have any information you could share about this pair? Your picture is the only one we have found that matches ours. Thank you!
