Pink Roses Tea Cup Birdfeeder

Today for Pink Saturday I am going to post pictures of this cute tea cup bird feeder I made the other day.
The Vintage tea cup and saucer is from the China set Old Country Roses. I love all the pink roses on it! I also epoxy a old vintage silver spoon on the plate too for the birds to sit and eat!

The weather here in Southern California has been so beautiful. Today it was 85 degrees! My garden is alive with lots of beautiful blooms! I have to cut back all my roses and I have been stalling because I still have lots of beautiful blooms like these pink rosesEven the Pink daisies are blooming where I decided to take pictures of my tea cup bird feeder!

Good morning and Happy Pink Saturday, dear Ann.

Your flowers are beautiful. I see ice on my roses bushes this morning. We do the first cut back on ours in early December, and the next cutting will be early February. It will be May when we have roses again.

I love the birdfeeder. How in the world do you ship them?

How gorgeous! I am so envious of your beautiful setting and the weather! We don't usually have all of the cold we are having now, so I am really really wishing I was in your little garden,
Happy PS

Good Morning Sweetie.

What a darling Idea for a feeder.

This year-- my sis-- moved into a new home and loves birds so much that she set up 2 feeders.

Well...just the other day-- taking down the christmas out door decorations they came upon all the Droppings of the WELL fed birds -- and OOOOH my the mess! (they have since knocked down one feeder)

They said NEXT summer they are moving the feeder -- Im guessing there wont be such plump birds out there NEXT year :)

If you get a moment I would love you to stop by-- say hi and maybe join us next week at Fridays- Finding Beauty!

TTFN~~ Claudia ♥ ♥

It looks so pretty, Ann. I love the idea of adding the spoon.

I couldn't wait to set mine up, but it got broken in our last move. (sigh)

This is my favourite china pattern of all time, since I first saw it (age 12 - I'm now 57) and this is a great idea for using a cracked cup. But isn't the cup a little too deep for the birds to drink out of? Is it working well? (because if it is, I need to steal this idea. We have a robin which may enticed into a matching teapot).

Happy Pink Saturday & Happy New Year!

Love the birdfeeder! Thought of you today. There was an earthquake of the coast of Ferndale and Eureka. A 6.5. In the news I saw the owner of an antique store mention that lots of the china broke in her store. She said that she was going to have a sale of the broken china for those who do mosaics. Of course the first person I thought of was you! I don't have time to get up that way to check that out. Too long of a drive and not enough time. But I thought that was a clever thing to do with all the broken china in her store. Not a complete loss for her that way.

I'm a day late and a dollar short☺ Was able to leave some messages for Pink Saturday yesterday and finishing up today. Over the holidays I was MIA from PS and really missed it but knew that I wouldn't be able to visit many blogs. I'm back today and must say that it feels so good to visit familiar places - like coming home again.

I like the feeder and I like your photos BUT I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT 85 DEGREES WHEN I HAVE -15!☺

Today you made my little, pinkie ♥ smile. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely blog. Hoping this next week is filled with sunshine and the laughter of friends and family☺

What an exquisite bird feeder! It's so beautiful. It is sure to attract the creme de la creme of bird
society :) The bejeweled silver spoon is a lovely touch. Oh, and you must be one of the few people who are warm right now. It was about twelve below here in Pennsylvania this morning! Have a lovely week. -Hugs, Terri

Oh Ann- I love them! I'm sure your birds enjoy them too. I would love to come and stay with you until everything thaws out here... have you got a spare bedroom that will hold me and 30 chickens? (I'll leave Hubby here with the sheep- they like this kind of weather... LOL)
