The Rose Garden

Here is the entrance to my Rose Garden. I tried counting my roses once and I stopped counting at 147. I just love spring, every rose bush is in full bloom. The first glimpse of spring, I immediately feed all my rose bushes and continue to do so every 3 months until fall. Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns. I am thankful that thorns have roses.

This is one of my favorite things to look at in your yard. I bet everything smells so good right now.

I have really poor luck with roses. I hope that is not a bad omen. Everything else grows well. The entry to the garden is beautiful. Do you grow vegetables as well? I bet you have some great real Italian recipes you could share with us! Now that would be a GOOD smell!
