Pink Saturday - Pink Gift Tags

Today is Pink Saturday and I love to join Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound and all the other pinkies and posting something pink today.

I have been taking care of my husband who got home this week from the hospital after having a knee replacement. I have had lots of time during his "nap time" to do some crafts!

A California Winter's Garden

I haven't posted or visited any one's blog in over 2 weeks. We have had so much drama here, my husband has been in the hospital with a knee replacement, my dog Buck got hit by a car (he is OK now), my little dog Buster the Shiz Tzu bit a friend's little girl in the face so bad she had to have plastic surgery, oh, the list goes on! My only escape is my beautiful garden. I love to walk through it and see what is blooming. We have had a week of hot weather, then a week of cold and rainy weather and my flowers think it's spring time! Come walk with me through my garden and see what is blooming in a California Winter's Garden!

Blue Monday - Blue Spring Glass Bunny

Today for Blue Monday I am going to post pictures of a really cute blue glass bunny candy dish

I collect Glass Roosters and Chickens and I thought this little bunny would be a good companion to them!

Pink Saturday - Vintage Pink Embroidery Pillow Cases

Today for Pink Saturday I am posting pictures of a set of Vintage Pillow cases I have just recently purchased on Etsy. They are in excellent condition with the prettiest pink hand made embroidery on them.

I just love all the pretty detailed work done on them! Someone put alot of time in making these!

Blue Monday - Vintage Valentine Gift Tags

Today is Blue Monday and I am going to show some Vintage Valentines (with Blue in them of course) that I have turned into handmade gift tags. You can also use them to make handmade gift cards too, just omit the hole and ribbon on top.

Silver Sunday - Silver Spoons Garden Markers

Today I am joining Beth over at Gypsy Fish Journal for Silver Sunday!

I thought I would show pictures of the cutest Garden Markers I have made out of old silver spoons.

The letters are hand stamped (using a hammer) with jewelers alphabet letters and then you use black markers to fill inside! The silver spoons can be found at flea markets and garage sales.

Pink Saturday - Pink Piglets!
