Blue Monday and Winner of my Tea Cup Bird Feeder

Today is Blue Monday over at Smiling Sally's Blog. And I bet she is really smiling today because she is also the Winner of Tea Cup Bird Feeder that I am giving away in celebration of my 200th post!

Here is the Tea Cup Bird Feeder that she won. Congratulations Ms Sally!

For my contribution to Blue Monday, this is a really cute dark blue bottle that I purchased the other day in Big Bear. A cute mountain community where we have our cabin at. I love all the detailed decoration on the bottle.

Pink Saturday - Pink Rose Tea Cup Birdfeeder For 200 Post Giveaway!

Today is Pink Saturday over at Beverly's How Sweet The Sound. Please don't forget to go visit her blog and visit all the other Pink Saturday participants. This is my 201 Post! So I thought I would post pictures of what I am giving away in celebration of my 200th Post!

This is a Tea Cup Bird feeder that I make. This one has a Vintage China Tea Cup with a Pink Rose on the Tea Cup and also the Plate. It sits on a staircase pole that has been painted white. The bottom tip is sharp so that it slides easy into the ground. I have screwed the plate into the top of the pole. It is very secure.
Won't this look cute in your garden? Just leave a message for me on this post from now until Saturday July 25th. I will draw the name at 8:00 PM on July 25th and announce the lucky winner!

Good Luck! Anne Fannie

Blue Monday - Vintage Blue Lady Planters

Today is Blue Monday over at Smiling Sally's blog. Be sure to go visit her and all the other Blue Monday Posts!
I have a weakness for Vintage Lady Planters. I remember my Mom and Grandmother having some but no one can seem to find them now. I remember playing with them as I had them dance on the coffee table and getting in trouble for touching them. Now I have my own and I can make them dance all I want!

Here are some really cute ones in Blue, perfect for showing for Blue Monday

Pink Saturday - Pink Mosaic Cake Stand

It's Pink Saturday again over at Beverly's How Sweet The Sound. I love to join her and over 100 other pinkies and post something Pink today.

I looked around to find something pink I haven't shown before. Here is a cute Pink Mosaic Cake Stand that I made about 2 weeks ago. When I bought the cake stand it was just a gold iron cake holder. I painted it pink, added some broken china pieces on top and hung some crystals! I love how it came out!

Show and Tell Friday - Mosaic Birdhouse

I haven't participated in Show and Tell Friday for awhile so I thought I would today. Kelli over at There's No Place Like Home is our hostess!

This is a Mosaic Birdhouse I have just finished making. I used vintage broken china plates, glass, gems, a teacup and different kinds of embellishments!
I like to start out by sealing all the wood with a good wood sealer so that the outside weather doesn't warp the wood.
I used an old staircase pole as the stick to hold it up. I like to use my sander and sand the bottom of the stick to a point so that it slides very easy into the dirt. I also glue and screw the pole into the bird house so that it's very secure
I start off by doing one side at a time. I careful glue each piece in place using Weldbond Glue. I like to cut my pieces from a plate as I go. This is the back side.

Each side is done differently. I do one side a day to make sure they are glued and in place before I turn it over to do another side. After all the pieces are dried and glued in place I then use white sanded grout to fill in the cracks.

I love the tea cup cut in half placed in front. I also fill it with birdseeds too! After the grout is all dried, I then seal the grout with a good grout sealer. For more Show and Tell Friday Posts, please go visit Ms Kelli at There's No Place Like Home Blog!

Outdoor Wednesday - Vintage Outhouse

I thought I would join Susan @ Southern Daydreamer Blog for Outdoor Wednesday today. This is the first time I have participated in it.

Today I am showing a Vintage Style Outhouse I have in my yard. I use this as a storage for my pond supplies. It looks so cute in the yard and I have all kinds of vintage things hanging on all four sides of it.

It is made out of old wood however it is a reproduction and has never been used as a potty! I love the moon cut out on the door!
In the inside it even has a place to sit with a hole cut out. I keep my pond bucket in that hole filled with some pond items in case someone thinks this is the spot!
