This is Susie. She is a White Silkie. She is so sweet!
This is Geraldine. She is a White Leghorn Hen. She is a couple of weeks older than the other chicks and she acts like a Mommy to the little ones!
This is Henrietta. She is a Buff Orpington Hen.
This is Rosie. She is a Frizzle Hen. She is soooo cute!!
This is Buttercup. She is a Rhode Island Red Hen.
This is Pickles. She is a Barred Rock Hen.
Soooo, when I went to buy these baby chicks at a Ranch the other day, they had two other cute things that I just had to take home. My husband was not amused....LOL So here is:
This is Peter. He is a Peacock!!
And this is Tom. He is a Tom Turkey!! He has quite the personality!
I am just finishing up the final touches of my Chicken Coop and I will post pictures as soon as I am done. It is bright Yellow and I have been hanging up some of my vintage signs on the outside and inside.

Hi there...I love your new babies! They are so fun to have around, our baby chicks are looking like teenagers now! Can't wait to see the coop, bet it will be awesome! ;D
You have been absent a long time! I was getting worried! You are going to love being a chicken Mama! I have hens, and they are wonderful pets!!! Your peacock will be far more challenging!! They are very loud!!!! Watch out!!!
I can't wait to see your coop!
Ann, they are ADORABLE!!!! You will be the best mommy! Do you have some chicken books? If you need some recommendations, let me know! Can't wait to see your coop! Are you making it yourself?!!!
Hugs,
Maryjane
PS
I have a Barred Rock also and a New Hampshire Red (almost like your Rhode Island Red)!
Rosie and Pickles are my favorites. Am I allowed to have favorites? I cannot believe tht you also went with a turkey and a peacock. Turkeys can be extremely territorial and mean to visitors so be careful, but they are good "guard dogs". Have fun with all your new babies!
Oh your babies are so precious! Absolutely precious! Lucky you~ Lucky babies!
How fabulous! Your new babies are just adorable. I am hoping to have chickens one day, too. Fingers crossed...
Awwww, such fluffy balls of sweetness. I can't wait to see Peter the Peacock when his colorful plumage grows in.
God bless ya and have a peaceful day sweetie!!!
You lucky duck. They are all so cute. Good luck and I can't wait to hear about your fresh eggs in a few months.
Get out of town! How adorable and I am looking forward to following their growth and antics around your place.
