Today is the 2nd Birthday to Pink Saturday. Congratulations to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for such a successful and so well participated weekly post.
Today I am posting a picture of a pink tea cup candle. They are so easy and fun to make. They also make a great gift.
HOW TO MAKE A TEA CUP CANDLE
Find a tea cup you can live without or purchase one at a thrift store.
Then you can either purchase candle wax or reuse some melted down from left over burnt out candles.
Melt the wax. It's best to melt it in a double boiler. Wax has a flash point, or a point where it will burst into flames. Fragrances that are added do also. If the wax is smoking it is too hot.
Add in any fragrance you like if the wax is unscented.
Place the wick in the bottom of the tea cup and slowly pour the wax in being careful not to splash it on the edges of the cup.
Let the wax cool.
Ta-Da! You have a beautiful teacup candle to keep or to give as a gift!

Adorable! "High class" candles, indeed! Wouldn't it be fun to perch several of these on candlesticks and use as part of a tabletop centerpiece?
