Blue Monday - Pretty Blue Vintage Hankies

It's Blue Monday again and its time to post about something Blue!

The other day I was on Etsy looking to buy some fabric and I came across these very pretty blue hankies for sale. I just couldn't resist buying them, the price was great too!
Here is a close up of each one. I love all the pretty blue delicate looking flowers on them
I love displaying my hankies. In my laundry room I have pretty french doors leading outside to my patio area. I wanted some kind of valance on it, but not one to take away my view of my garden. So I have a rope line running across the top of the doors and I hang my hankies on it and I secure them with vintage clothes pins. Not only am I displaying my vintage hankies but it looks so cute! Here is a picture of one of the blue ones!

I love the hankies and your creative display. I have a friend who used vintage aprons for a valance. It was pretty too.

The hankies are pretty. I remember Mama teaching me to always have a clean, freshly ironed one whenever I left the house.

I like your creative valance. Thanks for sharing your blues. Happy Blue Monday.

Those hankies are so lovely. My aunt gave me a stash that had apparently belonged to my grandmother. Such treasures!

What a clever cute way to display your hankies in your laundry room.

SKUNK UPDATE: My home, ya know the one that always reeks of mulberry essence is now reeking of mothballs. Our tenants the La Pews seem to be enjoying the fragrance contrary to the searches I ran on the subject. 'Don't know why that should surprise me, their dining on rat poison and a delicacy I added quick set cement in and lovin' it. Have a super great day!!!
