Pink Saturday

Today is Pink Saturday where we are to show things that are PINK!

The weather has been nice here and my garden flowers think it's spring time!

The first thing I did today was go out in the garden and pick a fresh bouquet of PINK flowers for my kitchen counter

I have these flowers growing wild in one area of the yard. I have them in pink and purple. They are suppose to bloom from spring to summer but this past year I have had them all year long. This is a close of some of the plants. They seem to multiply like crazy. After the flower blooms it turns into a pea pod looking thing and it's full of seeds and it actually pops and spreads the seeds everywhere. On a hot day you can actually hear them pop!
I still have some PINK roses blooming today too

I love PINK Geraniums. This one is in a basket in my patio

Here is a cute Cup Cake Ornament with PINK frosting

This is a Cup Cake Magnet with PINK frosting. Both of these Cup Cakes I received in a PINK Christmas Swap this past Christmas

During our recent Cruise, I bought all our sweet little Grand Daughters one of these embroidered dresses. This one has lots of PINK

Here is a close up of the embroidery work

Precious little dresses and lovely flowers, too! Did you say that you have astomeria (sp) growing in your yard??? That would be great to have because they last so long! Loved your pinkness.

Happy Pink Saturday!

What pretty little dresses!

Lucky you to have alstromeria growing. They are just gorgeous! I can't keep it - we're so dry and our soil is such tough clay.

Happy Pink Saturday, Ann. I've missed you.

How wonderful to be able to get blooms from your garden now. I am so glad you share them with us. We do have camellias blooming.

Love the dresses. You need to get a group photo with all of them together in those pretty dresses.

Hello, I have just begun to visit your place ~ beautiful flowers and beautiful pages. I love your mosaics. I bought some supplies a year or so ago and have borrowed books from the library because I would love to try my hand at making a project. Recently I bought small wooden heart-shapes and letter beads to make for my granddaughters. I thought it would be a good starting place, but I still feel a little intimidated. I think I'll push myself to give it a try.

I have conflicting emotions right now! Do I feel happy for you that you've got flowers in JANUARY, or mad about it, since we are freezing our butts off?! HAHAHAHAAA!

So glad to see you enjoying them! Happy Pink Saturday!

I LOVE the first flowers you pictured---I don't know their name--does it begin with an "A"? I know they always last a long time (in a vase of water) and they are beautiful!
The little dress is wonderful--I'll be the girls were thrilled with their gifts!!
Hope you had a great PSat!! Dana

PS I added you to my blog list tonight--I never realized you had Green Acres after your name until I REALLY paid attention (I just thought of you as Annie Fannie-what a dufus I am!). I just know I have really appreciated getting to know you through our blogs!! dana

Thank you for welcoming me to Pink Saturday. Your garden pictures are so lovely. Oh, to be in California still. I think it is supposed to snow here later today, and all of the flowers are long, long gone until at least March. Your pictures remind me of my how my Mother's gardens were in California.
Thank you
~Shari
