Blue is for Blue Mondays

Today is Blue Monday. Smiling Sally loves the color Blue and she has Blue Monday every Monday. I thought I would join in this week.

I love Enamelware/Granite ware. My favorite is blue however I do have other colors especially the green and red. This is a dark Blue swirl Enamelware/ Granite ware teapot I bought a few years back on ebay. I don't drink tea, but I just like the looks of it. It dates back to around 1920.

This is a large blue platter I mosaic with blue china pieces.
This past week I had two of my Grandchildren visiting me from Utah. I just loved having them and we had so much fun. This picture I took Thursday on our day at Sea World in San Diego while we were watching Shamu the Killer Whale Show. I love the deep blue water.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. Please visit Smiling Sally's Blog for more Blue Mondays!

Beautiful blue tea pot. I don't drink tea either, but I sure would enjoy looking at this beauty every day. I love your mosaic work too. There's something special about blue and white.

I'm glad you had time with the grandkids and found some blue to share. Happy Blue Monday!

Hi Anne! I love all of your blueness this morning, especially the beautiful platter. You mosaiced that yourself? You're quite talented!

Your Blue swirl Enamelware/Granite Ware pieces are wonderful. I especially like the tea pot. I have a few pieces of enamel but they are newer and not nearly as nice as yours. We visited Sea World every year when it was in Ohio. We started with our children and then took our grandchildren. We all loved it.

Thanks for asking about the case. There is nothing at all and on Saturday it will be 11 months.

What fun blues! I love the teapot and your mosaic work is beautiful. I can see that heart plate you have shown before sneaking its way into the picture. Sea World looks like a blast. We used to take the kids to Marine World in Vallejo. I think they call that place Discovery Kingdom now.

"Killer" Whales are actually pretty docile most of the time from what I've heard. But they make a big splash!
