It's Blooming Tuesday!

I haven't posted in a week since the last Blooming Tuesday! I have been out of town at our vacation home on the Colorado River and just got home last night. Lets go out in the garden and see whats blooming and whats new in the garden!

I have been busy doing some Mosaics and I have made these darling Mosaic Stepping Stones using broken china pieces. They were so much fun to make and so easy!

Here is a close up of the Stepping Stone. Lots of blues and pinks

This one I added a touch of green and it looks good with the green grass

Here is a close up shot of the mosaic pieces

My fall Chrysanthemums are starting to bloom!
White Rose Bush is full of blooms

My hand made gourd birdhouse. After I cut a hole and paint them, I like to seal them with a sealer and they will last years in your garden!

Yellow Day Lilies

One of my cute fall birdhouses, a ceramic corn on the cob!

Well, here comes Charlie my pet turtle. He has been following me around the yard for the past 15 minutes while I have been taking pictures....just hoping I have some food for him!

Now get on over to Jean's Green Thumb Blog and look at more beautiful gardens on Blooming Tuesday! Hope you enjoyed your walk with me through my garden. I am going to go feed a poor starving Turtle some carrots!

Your mosiacs are beautiful! I've been thinking of doing an end wall of my grill area, all with flat marbles, when the weather cools and I can stand being outdoors for hours at a time. The flower photos are all nice too.

I always love walking with you through your lovely gardens. BEAUTIFUL mosaic stepping stones....those are gorgeous. I want to made a gourd birdhouse....it is on my long list of things to do.

I love seeing Charlie too...he is just so big...we have had our smaller turtles on the porch the last week on and off. Lexi gets so excited when we open our door and there they are outside of the storm door.

How cute! I've never seen a pet turtle follow anyone before. How sweet.

I just love your steping stones. What did you use to put the tiles on the steps? I want to do a bird bath but I'm not sure what to use to glue the tiles down with.

Thanks.
Joanne

Welcome back from the Colorado River! Every bloom is a beauty! Your mosaic stepping stones are gorgeous and perfectly crafted. I tried mosaic on a round tabletop and it was soooo difficult. It didn't look as smooth as yours! Above all, Charlie adds the best touch to your garden!

I love your mosaic. I am collecting broken plates and one day some day soon I will try to do one.
I also had a tortise named of all things "Tort" He got so big I had to find him a home. He kept escaping from my house and heading for the lake across the street. I was cocerned he would fall down the storm drain but I think he was hoping to meet a lake turtle.
