Vintage Thingie Thursday - China For the Birds!

I love to collect Vintage China Plates and Tea Cups and Saucers. A while ago, I ordered a whole lot of China Plates on Ebay. They arrived all broken! I saw a vision in all those broken pieces of China for the Birds!

I took these pictures yesterday, look how pretty my pink daisy bush is! Doesn't it know it's the middle of January?

  6. That's a creative use of broken pottery. I hate it when people break pottery on purpose.

  15. I just love your beautiful mosaic birdhouse! It's great that you made lemonade out of the lemons you received!:-)

Your teacup birdfeeders are also adorable! I have made them also for our elementary school. Several years ago I had designed an outdoor classroom/wildlife habitat in the courtyard of my children's elementary school! They were quite a hit with the kids, teachers & the birds! Great to see them again--brings back wonderful memories!!:)

    Thanks for following my blog!

  16. The bird house is so elegant. Maybe if I had a birdhouse like that I'd draw some colorful birds to my garden! I seem to attract many brown (but darling) birds!
