Today is Blue Monday hosted by Sally at Smiling Sally's Blog Sally loves the color Blue so she has us post pictures of blue items on our blog every Monday.
I have a collection of Carousel Horses. I noticed a few of them have blue on them!
Then, this is the last photo I took of him before he ripped my camera from my hands and threw it on the floor................

Alabaster seems like quite the character! What beautiful coloring. I hope your camera survived well...
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice collection of carousel horses. Do you still add to them?
My mom had a collection of carousel horse music boxes that looked much like these. They were colored and ... "garnished?" with the birthstones for each month, and she had one for the birth months of all of her children and grandchildren. Fortunately, there were a lot of multiples in each of those months, so the collection didn't get out of hand!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - that is so funny! Since you were able to post the photos, I'm assuming the camera survived its run-in with Alabaster! (who is a VERY handsome bird!!!) Your carousel horses are also beautiful!...Donna
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty carousel horses! I was going to ride the carousel at Disneyland, but then I was afraid I would not be able to get on the carousel, so we didn't go on that one. My knees were getting sore by that time. I hope your camera is okay. Silly bird, attacking your camera! Guess he didn't like that flash after all.
ReplyDeleteI love Alabaster the parrot :) and your sweet carousel horses.. Happy Blue Monday..
ReplyDeleteGood blue choice !
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny, Ann... Hmmm.. a bird with an attitude? I wouldn't know anything about that. (chuckle*snort)
ReplyDeleteYour little carousel horses are gorgeous!

Morning, Anne! Oh, that Alabaster! What a cutie and a stinker at the same time. LOL

Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
LOL!!! Fids are so funny! He looked all fuzzed up as well. That is what we call Her Majesty and Mrs. Crab when they disagree with something.
ReplyDeleteLove the horses and the platters behind them.
He is a real Hollywood type, isn't he? First he wants the attention, then he wants to rip the camera away from the paparazzi. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHi Ellen...
ReplyDeleteI hope your camera survived getting thrown by Alabaster. What a stunningly beautiful bird. His colors are amazing. Love your collection fo carousel horses. Very pretty!! Happy Blue Monday.
What a naughty little guy he was to throw your camera on the floor. LOL. Hope it survived the crash. Like your little horses.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful bird!
ReplyDeleteI made a carousel horse cross-stitch for my eldest when I was on bedrest during my pregnancy with her, so it just followed that I started collecting carousel horses for her. They're so beautiful and fun to collect.
I really like your unique carousel collection - but to be honest, Alabaster the Bird received most of my attention. He must be some character. Happy Blue Monday.
