What's Blooming in the Garden Today

Today it is expected to be 104 degrees. I wish this heat would go away, it is not good for my Fall flowers that are starting to bloom.

So lets take a stroll through the yard and see what's Blooming....

I just replanted this area of the garden. I planted Boxwood along the walkway, Orange and Yellow Marigolds and a Apricot Hibicus in the middle.

The garden is starting to come alive with blooming Chrysanthemums everywhere. I like to keep them trimmed so that when they bloom they are a cluster of flowers

Can you tell Yellow is my favorite?

This is called Supertunia. Its a mini bright pink Petunia Violas
This is a interesting flower bloom, its called Bird of Paradise

Phlox

Orange and Red Asclepias

Angel Flower

Alyssum

My Orange Wallflower is taking a beating in the heat!

Caladium

Coleus

Society Garlic Plants

Bogan Villa Bush - This bush is great for fences and walls. It has thorns and no one is going to climb that fence!

My favorite part of a rose flower is the bud, right when it just begins to open. I think it is one of the most beautiful thing in the world. Here are some of those beautiful moments that I captured today.....

  4. Another lovely walk down your garden paths! I am so jealous of your Calidium. Mine regualrly sends up leaves, but they die within a day or two- especially the light colored ones, but lately all of them. I'm debating my plan to dig them up and replant next spring- I may just dig them up!
