Pink Gourd Bird House

Today is Pink Saturday and I always join Ms Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to show something PINK.

This is a PINK Gourd Bird House I have made and have hanging in the garden. I can't believe I still have PINK and red periwinkle flowers blooming. Its been getting in the 30s at night, so I won't for long!
This is our newest family member, Molly. She is wearing a PINK collar. My husband and I found Molly behind our property. Someone had dropped her off and deserted her. She is only around 7 months old. She is so sweet, she has captured our hearts and has made friends with Buster, Buck and evil Kitty. I can't figure out how some people can be so cruel to a sweet innocent dog! She loves her new home and she is so much better off! For more Pink Saturday posts, please go visit Ms Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound!

  2. That Molly is so cute!! There was a little angel riding on her back, guiding her to your property. What a lucky pup to find you and how lucky you are that she did! I just get SO upset when I think of people dumping the helpless animals. i found our last kitty, nearly starved to death. She was so happy to come live at our house, and not a day has gone by since she came, that I don't look at her and think how horrible a time she had just before we "connected". She was truly skin and bones...and just 7 mo. old.(don't know exactly on that age)

OK...I love her collar, of course and that PINK bird house, too! I am surprised it gets that cold where you live. It was in the teens here for the last two mornings. brrrrrrr it made for a cozy TGiving! :)

Happy Pink Sat. Ha ha!!! How about me being #1 on the list. That will NEVER happen again...what a hoot. I'm off to hit a couple of flea markets with my buddy!

  8. Hi Anne! Oh, that's a very cute pink gourd birdhouse and Molly looks like a darling. Poor little thing to be dumped like that. But it seems she's found the right home.
Thanks so much for popping in to see me.
    Be a sweetie,

  9. Molly is a lucky dog, Ann; she knows a good home when she sees one!

We had a dog like that. She lived with us for over 15 years, and we spoiled her rotten. Dogs never forget kindnesses, and ours was a love.

We had a great Thanksgiving with our daughter cooking. I hope you had a good one too! We are blessed, for sure!

That is so sad about poor little Molly- she has such a sweet face... I don't know how anyone can desert an animal.
I'm sure she will be very happy living with you!

  15. Anne~ Thanks for stopping by my blog. I live in Indianapolis Indiana. Our snow has already melted. The "Big snow" will come after the holidays. My Hubby had a snow removal business that he wants to start up again.. misses it. It is fun, but tiring, to push " BTW~ "Anne Fannie" I use to be called "Jannie Fannie" by my family when I was young. So your title caught my eye & made me laugh.
