Pink Saturday - Project for 2010

Beverly at How Sweet the Sound has asked us to post today about a special project we want to accomplish for 2010.
The first of every year I make list of the things I want to accomplish for the year. I make two columns, one for the list of things I want to get done for the year like redecorating a room, going on a trip, etc and the other column for spiritual things I want to accomplish for the year. I like to look at this list throughout the year to see if I am on track to my goals. I have been doing this for over 20 years. It is fun to look back at the old lists and see how my priorities have changed throughout the years!




One of my special projects for this year is to redo and paint my potting shed. This is the cutest little building I have in my garden filled with all my gardening items. Here is a picture of how it looks today before the makeover.
The outside is painted a redwood color now. I want to brighten it up with a pretty paint job. I know you are thinking, it is Pink Saturday today, is she going to paint it PINK? Nope. I am going to paint it a light yellow with white trim. I thought it would be nice to have it match my home.

    What a great way to approach the New Year....with your lists. I love it that you keep your lists from previous years...what a great way to reflect on your life's journey!

    That potting shed is adorable...and I can hardly wait to see it painted YELLOW!

    I bet those lists are so fun to look back on and a definite way to keep on track throughout the year. Love that little potting shed and it is going to look even cuter painted yellow!

    Happy New Year from our house to your house. I too have been making lists and at the end of the year checking to see what all was accomplished. I am always amazed. You were a bit smarter to keep it in columns. Duh, I must be blond. I didn't do that. Wish I had. Oh well. Great idea!

    Great Idea with the two columns I just love lists. I make them all the time and don't ya just love when you can cross something off!! My computer won't show the picture of your potting shed but I bet it is adorable! Happy New Yea!!
