For Pink Saturday today I thought I would show a cabinet I just got done with.
I fell in love with this cabinet the first moment I saw it. Our Real Estate Agent was taking us through a REPO home on a Avocado Grove (two properties away) that was built in 1914 and I saw this cabinet sitting in a corner to be discarded. I knew I had to Mosaic it!
I love the white chippy paint on it. I added lots of pink broken china plates to each side, the bottom and also the top!
This is the top of the cabinet
I love the glass knobs!
I hung it in one of my Shabby Guest Bedrooms with some other Mosaic furniture. I am going to hang some of my pink flowered hand towels on that bar across the bottom of it!

I am sure that piece appreciated you saving it from the trash. How cute and to think someone would have just thrown it out. I love the little heart in the middle of the one plate.
ReplyDeleteYou have the sharpest eye and the most creative mind to see a future for a cast-off piece of furniture.
ReplyDeleteMe too! like the knobs. So shiny and gem-like :-) Nice contrast to the cabinet. Good thing you have an eye for potential so this cabinet can be brought home and do a makeover. It looks right at home with the pretty china displayed inside.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink saturday!
