Vintage Thingie Thursday - Vintage Pink Wall Planter

Today is Vintage Thingie Thursday. What I am showing today is definitely a thingie. My Mom gave it to me years ago, it use to belong to my Grandmother. It is a wall hanging that is a wall planter. It is porcelain with pink flowers. I do not know anything about it. I do know it is older than me! It is really pretty, I have never hung it up on the wall. It still has a piece of yarn that my grandmother use to hang it up with! I remember seeing it hanging in her living room when I was a little girl.

  8. This is really pretty. You'd need a small wall, or a grouping of unusual art to hang it.

I think those are so delicate... The colors are just gorgeous!
My grandmother had one in the shape of a lady's head- the flowers came out of the top of her head!

  14. How special to have something that belonged to your grandmother! Those wall pockets were fashionable back in the day. If you go to stores nowadays, you will see they copied the ideas over in tin, or wicker - but the oldies can't be beat!
