Blue Monday - Vintage Blue Lady Planter

Sally over at Smiling Sally's Blog has Blue Monday going on again today! It's a fun day to post something blue on your blog!

This is a really cute Vintage Blue Lady Planter I bought a couple weeks ago on ebay. I just love the way she looks!
Here is a close up of her face, she is so sweet. She is in perfect condition considering her age!
On her back she has a planter. These were very popular in the 50's

Please don't forget to click here and go visit Sally at Smiling Sally's Blog for more Blue Monday posts!

  1. She is beautiful. That shade looks like a deep teal. I really like it. I see spots of blue on your mosaic birdhouse in the background too. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

Also wanted to say I love that pink embroidered pillow case. I too, am a lover of embroidery but with my carpul tunnel I don't think I'd be able to master it...ah well, at least I can enjoy looking at it. lol!
Hope your weekend was great! Enjoy your day.

  8. My aunt had planters similar to her, and lady head vases. They always looked a little strange to me. I like the full bodies better, especially as a child.

    Happy Blue Monday.

  9. How cool that she's also a planter! You even use her a vase for a dinner table center piece. I like it when somethings versatile like that. happy Blue Monday! Mary :O)
