Today is Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound
I have taken one of those large glass blocks and drilled a 1/2" hole in the side with my drill press. I then stuffed inside white lights with a white cord (not the green one's at Christmas time). Every holiday I change the ribbon bow on top to match the holiday. I keep this night light in my guest bathroom.
Here it is with pink and red ribbon for Valentine's Day!

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY ANNE,
ReplyDeleteWHAT A DARLING IDEA AND THAT BOW IS GORGEOUS....I HAVE A STRING OF PRETTY PINK LIGHTS THAT I BET MIGHT LOOK REAL PRETTY IN ONE OF THOSE...GREEN LIGHTS WOULD BE PRETTY FOR ST PATRICK'S BUT I BET THE COLOR DOESN'T WORK GOOD AS A NIGHT LIGHT.
IF YOU GET A CHANCE I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO STOP BY MY PLACE AND HAVE A CUP OF TEA. I AM A FAIRLY NEW BLOGGER AND THIS IS MY FIRST PINK SATURDAY. SO MANY BEAUTIFUL WOMEN TO VISIT.
BLESSINGS
debbie

I LOVE that night light! I have seen folks make those at Christmas (selling them at some of the craft shows), but I hadn't thought how wonderful they would transition for the different seasons and holidays!
ReplyDeleteI will tell you that I am drooling over those wonderful Valentine planters!! OMG--I have never seen any like those! Well, I lied, I do have one planter (it has a double red heart on it with script that says "Valentines Greetings"), but I have not seen the ones with the girls!! I will be on the hunt now!
Happy Belated Pink Sat. to YOU!!! Dana
CUTE nightlight. I have one but just use it for a Christmas decoration. Great idea. Mimi
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, your glass block looks terrific. I like the idea of changing it for the holidays. I have one and have only brought it out at Christmas. You have inspired me to use it throughout the year, if I can find it now in the Christmas boxes. LOL!!
