I have a beautiful Pink bloom on my Amaryllis Plant. I took pictures of it everyday as it began to open and today it is in bloom on Pink Saturday!
Amaryllis are one of my favorite Christmas flowers. I think the pink ones are the prettiest! They are hard to find in pink!

ReplyDeleteOkay, honey, I'm trying to get around to all the pink saturday participants and I come upon you just as I'm receiving a message from you about your amaryllis!! I can't believe it. Mine is looking nothing like yours and it's a gift from a friend. I'm distraught, I tell ya, distraught, trying to figure out what we're doing wrong. I thought these things were "killerless" but I've succeeded in killing it or at least wounding it severely. *Sigh*............ Anyway, happy pink saturday..
ReplyDeleteSmooches,
Connie

We love it. It's my first time. I had it with Paperwhites surrounding it, but I had to cut them a few days ago. They were dropping all ove,r but my Pink Amaryllis I love.

How wonderful... A belated Pink Saturday and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday! I to do the amaryllis for the kids to watch grow. They love watching it. Mine is red this year and for some reason it started blooming when the stem was only about 3 inches tall. The one from last year only grew the leaves. Don't know what I did wrong there. Yours is beautiful. I also wanted to add that this is a good plant not only for the kids to enjoy but my grandmother enjoyed hers after she had had a stroke many years back. Best wishes for a wonderful New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, the amaryllis is gorgeous !
