Today is Show and Tell Friday hosted by Kelli at There's no place Like Home.
I am going to post pictures of some really fun and easy bags and tags I have been making lately.
I like to make bags, tags and cards for the whole year. Then as I need them I just grab them and use them.
These are some Tags I have made out of Flower vintage postcard pictures
Here are some close up shots of some of themI print the picture I want on card stock. I then cut it out to the desired shape, punch a hole in the top, stamp it with a postage stamp, ink the edges and tie a matching ribbon. On some of them I will add touches of colored glitter glue and I also stamp the back of the tag to say TO: and FROM:
I also make gift bags out of plain or colored Paper Bags. I fold the top down and punch two holes to tie ribbon. I then glue on the bag a picture along with different color layers of paper like you would a greeting card. I make a matching tag of the same picture that I put on the bag.
Here are some Thanksgiving gift tags I made to add to the cookies and goodies I make to give away
These are some Birthday Tags I have made
And last, here are some Christmas Gift Bags with matching tags I have made for my holiday gifts

ReplyDeleteI know I'm always going to see something wonderful when I pay you a visit. Your paper bags made me smile, because I give my gifts that way. I dress up he bag, make it pretty and attach an old card I've gussied up. I never thought of it as paper crafting. I was just trying to be "green" and "frugal". Now I can say I paper craft a bit! lol
