This is my summer car, my Purple Prowler. My little grandson said to me one day, Grandma you have a cool car, can I have it when I turn 16?
Anne, your posts are always so delightful---such smiles while viewing all your pretties! I'm so smitten with zinnias, they are terrific cut flowers, last ages. And I just love, LOVE, your strawberry birdhouse! Wherever did you find that?! Happy Days ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, and the frog is hilarious! Your car is certainly colorful. What is it? I've not seen one like this before.
ReplyDeleteAiyana
It may be hot there, but your garden looks cool and colorful! I think I'm partial to the salmon color gerbera daisy, but all of the flora and fauna in your garden is so beautiful. I'm with your grandson ... I'd like to inherit that little beauty too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blooms, obviously the heat isn't keeping them from blooming! I love your strawberry & pear birdhouses & the fat frog. Lots of whimsy in your garden. :) That is cute what your grandson said about the car too.
ReplyDeleteLovely post. What a cute little frog you have in your garden. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI think I would be happy getting lost in your garden. The strawberry birdhouse is very cute but again I'm loving the daisies :0). I hope you have an enjoyable day and try and stay cool. It's going to be another hot one.
ReplyDeleteWow- love the car, Miss Annie!! I'll bet you're one cool chick in that little buggy!
ReplyDeleteThe stawberry birdhouse is sooo cute!! I love your little froggy, too!
I can't wait for fall either... I'm ready for some cool evenings and even cooler mornings!

That heat would be too much for me. I would just stay in the house. Love all of the flowers.
ReplyDeleteHappy Bloomin' Tuesday.
Love that frog!! Everything is so colorful in your garden this week! It must be gorgeous! I love Gerber daisy but can't seem to keep them going. The salmon is my favorite. We've almost gotten too much rain this year. Great for transplanting because I don't need to water. Great post! Jean
ReplyDeleteAnn- Love your garden! I hope to grow pumpkins one year. To answer your question, Exeter is a small town near the Sequoia National Forest (the really big trees). It's in between Fresno and Bakersfield, nestled against the foothills.
ReplyDeleteI love the Salmon Daisy the most!- very special!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm laughing...Hey, I'm already 16 and I think your car is way cool too, so can I have it first?!!! What a darling story!!! And beautiful photos...love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comment you left on those mother emotions of children reaching milestones!
As I was scrolling down I noticed the untouched picture of your "Lucky-kitty-cat" and howled. We've had so many cats through the years and I think I understand perfectly the disposition of this particular furry friend!
Thanks for the grins, I needed them today!
Blessings,
xo
