Charlie is out of Hibernation

Well Charlie has finally awaken from his winter sleep. All those beautiful days in the 80's has awaken him and he is hungry. He doesn't like the rock wall I built to keep him from eating a few of my spring flowers.

  9. Charlie is adorable. I have a friend in Arizona that has several. They keep reproducing! And they do hibernate. He has built a place very similar to what we do for wild rabbits and birds. How does Charlie find peace?
How old are your children? Grandchildren? We have 8 grandchildren. I think your home is lovely and , of course, I love the flowers.
I think I am going to enjoy my visits here!

  10. Well, we have been gone for 5 days and the rock wall kept Charlie the turtle from eating my flowers but not the golphers! When I got home last night I noticed most of the blue flowers and gerber daisies have been sucked into the ground and vanished!! I HATE GOLPHERS!!!
