Today is Vintage Thingie Thursday. What I am showing today is definitely a thingie. My Mom gave it to me years ago, it use to belong to my Grandmother. It is a wall hanging that is a wall planter. It is porcelain with pink flowers. I do not know anything about it. I do know it is older than me! It is really pretty, I have never hung it up on the wall. It still has a piece of yarn that my grandmother use to hang it up with! I remember seeing it hanging in her living room when I was a little girl.

Lovely wall vase...and I think it looks lovely on the table too (bit like a seashell). It looks to be in wonderful condition-lucky you!
This is really pretty. You'd need a small wall, or a grouping of unusual art to hang it.
that is very pretty and extra special because it was your grandmother's.
Oh that is so pretty, Miss Ann!!
I think those are so delicate... The colors are just gorgeous!
My grandmother had one in the shape of a lady's head- the flowers came out of the top of her head!
This is beautiful--lovely color. This is definitely something I would see at my MIL's house.
I love your wallpocket! Happy VTT to you...thanks especially for the Vintage Memories...I love that in a post!
Anne Fannie, your wall pocket is gorgeous. How lucky you are to have something so special from someone so special.
How special to have something that belonged to your grandmother! Those wall pockets were fashionable back in the day. If you go to stores nowadays, you will see they copied the ideas over in tin, or wicker - but the oldies can't be beat!
Good Morning Anne!
Oooo, that is pretty! I just love wall pockets.
Hi Anne,
love the pink and white wall planter. I also remember my Grandmother having a few around the house. It just brought back a few memories. You are very lucky to still have it in your family.
Have a great day,
Elizabeth
